Julie deBoer

Self-taught artist, Julie deBoer was born in Canada. She has been painting for ten years outside of Calgary, Alberta. Julie often works from her own photos and from her mind's eye. She works solely in acrylic because of its vibrancy of colour and the ease of workability. Julie is known for her smooth flowing style which is less often seen with acrylic paints. With the help of polymer, she achieves a fluidity that guides the viewer into the movement and flow found in her big Alberta sky pieces. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and charity auctions in Calgary, Canmore, Red Deer, Banff, and Vancouver.
