My name is Libby (Jayne) Sims and I have been an artist for 20 years. Ten of those as a resident artist at Arta Gallery in the Distillery district. I’m mostly self taught but studied intensely in 2010 and 2011 with Frank Arnold Art in Los Cabos México. I’m an intuitive painter, my work is organic, raw and starts with emotion always. Although I consider myself an abstract artist, my work mostly involves a subject somewhere. My range is figurative Portraits, flowers, birds and landscapes of my homeland England. My work is original, authentic, sometimes fun, but never cute!
