Travis Tatomir

 

Travis Tatomir is a self-taught woodworker from Eston, Saskatchewan. His journey into fine woodworking began with framing paintings in specialty hardwoods. Since then, he has developed a series of projects, communicating creatively through the act of shaping natural materials.

Considering himself a lifelong student of shape and form, Travis' most recent work has been focused on a marriage of aesthetics and ergonomics, seeking to present visually pleasing curves with a tactile element - the work also feels good when held in the hands.
